I'm (mi) Arzu Çopur...
Hi, I'm Arzu Çopur, a potter and the heart behind arzumi. Originally a professional in communication, marketing, and event management, I discovered my true calling in ceramics over two decades ago. Since 2000, I've been honing my craft in various ceramic studios, and in 2021, I turned my lifelong dream into reality with the launch of arzumi.
My creations are a fusion of tradition and modernity, reflecting my love for the craft and the world of colours.
arzumi is more than just a brand; it's an extension of my soul. The name itself is a blend of "Arzu" (my name) and "umi" – a word that resonates with beauty, art, and nature. As I learned from ChatGPT, in Japanese, 海 "umi" means "sea," symbolising the timeless flow of creativity that inspires my work.
